Thanks for the share, Choc-e Claire!
Choc-e Claire sez: The Mod rockers, the British Invasion band that's most influenced hard and punk rock, there's a lot that's been said about the Who. There's also a lot that's been said about Mike Millard, the famous Los Angelino taper who's renowned for making some of the best audience tapes of the 70s (the full story is in the .txt here). This is the combination of the two, with Millard's first ever recording - a surprisingly good effort, considering the technology of the time - capturing the Who's second night at the Forum on tour for Quadrophenia, playing eleven of that album's songs in a row bookended by a few of the other hits.
