John Fogerty featured on VH1 Legends in 1998. This TV broadcast preceded the release of Fogerty's first live album, Premonition, by just 3 days, and included many of the same songs as that release (recorded in December 1997).
Fogerty had split from Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1972 after the completion of their Mardi Gras (final) album, due to disagreements. On January 13, 2023, Fogerty announced on Twitter that he now owned the rights to the CCR global catalog after a 50-year legal battle.
