The Calling All Stations album had an interesting journey in its production. Audiences didn't seem ready for it. Mike said that their fans didn't mind change, such as when Gabriel was replaced by Phil. That didn't seem to be true when the album was released. Genesis didn't tour America because of low ticket sales; even when they tried to book small venues and clubs, so they stayed in Europe. The singles that were chosen were not great. Calling All Stations is my favourite track on the album. It should have been a single. The rest of the tracks fade out and they just go on with nothing standing out. Maybe if Ray Wilson had more input into the album it could have sounded better. At least Mike and Tony tried something different.
